About this platform

Kamarob is a demonstration of what a nonprofit in Tajikistan can run on one system.

Many organisations working in Tajikistan's mountain regions have no website, or one that is out of date and cannot be edited by the team. Kamarob shows the alternative: a public site the team updates itself, and an internal space for members.

The organisation on this site is a demo. The places are real: the photos and videos were taken by the author in the Kamarob Gorge in the Rasht District.

The platform is built with Next.js and Supabase: accounts with email confirmation, a Postgres database where every table checks who may read and write, file storage and real-time chat.
